Evaluation
Pixross launched on December 15, 2020 as a finished nonogram puzzle game and received several feature updates through October 12, 2021. After nearly five years of silence, the developer posted on September 28, 2026 announcing "Pixross Remastered" — a major free overhaul coming soon to all existing owners. The announced update includes substantial new features: a custom puzzle editor, Steam Workshop integration for sharing community-made puzzle packs, full keyboard and gamepad support, Steam Cloud save syncing, a reworked clue system, and various visual and audio improvements. Because this significant update has been announced but not yet shipped, the game is currently awaiting new content.
