Evaluation

PLANET ALPHA launched on September 4, 2018 as a self-contained single-player platformer/adventure game. The only DLC ever released — a digital artbook and an original soundtrack — both shipped on launch day itself, functioning as bonus extras rather than game content expansions. Developer communications stopped just two days after launch (September 6, 2018), with the final post being a bug-fix patch addressing issues reported in the first 24 hours. No post-launch content updates, expansions, or roadmaps were ever announced. The store description contains no mention of ongoing updates, live service features, or planned additions. With no content updates beyond the launch window and no developer communications since September 2018, the game shipped as a finished product and has been complete since its release date.

Evidence

First and last patch (1.0.5.1) released two days after launch, addressing bugs reported by players. This is the final developer communication on record.
