Pocket Mirror ~ GoldenerTraum launched on May 19, 2023 as a remastered and expanded version of the original 2016 Pocket Mirror, described in the launch post as "the definitive edition" with revamped graphics, a new ending, expanded language support, and additional content. Following launch, AstralShift released a series of bug fix and quality-of-life patches through mid-2023, culminating in a meaningful feature addition on December 22, 2023: a New Game+ Chapter Select Hub (version 1.1.6). The only DLC ever released was the Official Soundtrack, which shipped alongside the game on launch day. No additional DLC has been announced or listed as unreleased. On May 23, 2025, AstralShift announced their next game — Hell Maiden — explicitly thanking Pocket Mirror fans for their support and noting the new project as what they'd "been working on behind the scenes for the past few months." This announcement signals that the studio's development focus has moved on. There are no outstanding content commitments for Pocket Mirror ~ GoldenerTraum, no roadmap for additional updates, and no posts since the Hell Maiden announcement. The game shipped as a complete, polished product and received meaningful post-launch refinement through December 2023, after which the studio transitioned to new development work.
