Polandball: Can into Space!

Polandball: Can into Space! launched on June 15, 2016 and received a series of post-launch updates over its first 18 months. The developer shipped several feature patches: Patch 1.02 (July 7, 2016) added Mac/Linux support and controller support; Patch 1.03 (July 23, 2016) added new soundtracks and ball behaviors; a Custom Balls update (December 10, 2016) added community-created content and new behaviors; a Halloween update (October 30, 2017) added seasonal content and new memes; and a Christmas update (December 24, 2017) added seasonal cosmetics and Polish language support. The sole DLC — the Original Soundtrack — was released on July 28, 2016. After the Christmas 2017 update, the developer shifted focus entirely to their next game, Unbound: Worlds Apart. An October 2018 post confirmed the studio was working on Unbound and mentioned a potential Switch port of Polandball (with "more news soon"), but no Switch release or further Polandball updates ever materialized. Unbound: Worlds Apart launched on July 29, 2021, and that post explicitly described it as the result of "5 years of hard work" — consistent with the studio having moved on from Polandball around mid-2016 to mid-2017. There have been no developer communications about Polandball since October 2018, no unreleased DLC, and no announced future content. The update pattern ended with the Christmas 2017 patch, and the studio has been focused on other projects since. The game appears to have launched as a complete product and received a modest post-launch update cycle that concluded by December 2017.
