Poly Bridge 2 launched on May 28, 2020 and received a solid run of post-launch content: World 5 (Serenity Valley) shipped on August 2, 2020, followed by additional levels for World 6, a Weekly Challenges system, and numerous feature patches through 2022. The last significant content addition came on March 16, 2023 (Patch 1.60), which added 32 new levels across two bonus worlds (Glittering Gorge and GleamTown). That same day, Poly Bridge 3 was announced and released on May 30, 2023 — signaling that the studio's creative focus had moved to the sequel.
Since March 2023, updates to Poly Bridge 2 have been limited to maintenance work: engine upgrades, localization fixes, and bug patches. The most significant recent development came on June 9, 2026, when the developer announced that the custom AWS-hosted backend infrastructure (supporting Leaderboards, Workshop, and Gallery) is being migrated to Steam's systems due to declining sales making the original infrastructure financially unviable. A full data reset is scheduled for June 30, 2026, and the developer's framing makes clear this is a cost-reduction and long-term sustainability measure — not a sign of new content to come.
The only DLC ever released was the Soundtrack, which shipped at launch. No unreleased DLC exists and no future content has been announced for the game. Poly Bridge 2 is a complete, finished product. The online service migration means players will continue to have access to leaderboards and workshop content going forward, but on a streamlined infrastructure rather than the original custom backend.
