Evaluation

RoboCo spent several years in Early Access before officially launching version 1.0 on February 6, 2026. During Early Access, the developer shipped named content updates — the Copper update (October 2023), the Aluminum update (December 2023), and the Iron update (February 2024) — at a roughly quarterly cadence. The pre-launch post on February 4, 2026 was candid about the state of the game: the team was unable to secure the funding needed to deliver the originally planned VR mode, and they described the 1.0 release as a polishing and refinement pass on existing content rather than a new feature push. There was no roadmap, no promises of post-launch updates, and no announcement of future content. Since the 1.0 launch on February 6, 2026, there have been no developer posts of any kind — no bug fixes, no announcements, no teasers. There are no unreleased DLC listings on the store. The last developer communication of any kind was the 1.0 launch post on February 6, 2026, now six months ago. Given the developer's established quarterly update cadence during Early Access, six months of silence well exceeds that window. Taking all of this together: the developer's own words described a resource-constrained finish line, the 1.0 notes described polish rather than new content, no future content has been announced, and silence has extended beyond the historical update cadence. The game appears to have launched as a complete product and has received no post-launch content or communications since.
Evidence
Pre-launch post disclosed that VR mode was cut due to inability to secure funding, described 1.0 as polish and refinement of existing content, offered no post-launch roadmap or content commitments. Tone suggested the studio had reached the limits of what it could deliver.

Iron update shipped the 'Byte of the Living Dead' full challenge. Referenced the public VR roadmap as the next major focus. This was the last major content drop before 1.0.
