Portal Fantasy launched on April 16, 2025. Before launch, the developer published a detailed roadmap on April 11, 2025 outlining a multi-stage post-launch plan: Stage 1 covers ongoing v1.x updates with new features, areas, quests, and PvP; Stage 2 is a major Version 2.0 content drop called "The Outer Realms," promising entirely new biomes and regions. The developer explicitly stated their intent to make Portal Fantasy "a living, growing world." Following launch, the team delivered updates at a high frequency through mid-2025 — multiple bug fix and feature patches shipped between April and May 2025, followed by the substantial Version 1.1 on July 20, 2025, which added Steam Cloud saves, a new battle status menu, a full player character visual overhaul, and numerous quality-of-life improvements. The store also lists an unreleased DLC — the Starter Porble Cosplay Pack — confirming additional content was planned. However, the last developer communication of any kind was the Version 1.1 post on July 20, 2025. As of October 1, 2026, there has been no further news, patch, or statement from the developer in over 14 months. The Story
