Project Zero is a free-to-play roguelike shooter that launched on September 11, 2022. The developer (Breaker Games) has been transparently focused on moving beyond this game for some time. As early as April 2023, they announced a full sequel called "Apocalypse Party," which officially launched on December 1, 2023. The developer's December 2023 post frames Project Zero as the predecessor and Apocalypse Party as the natural next step, thanking players for their support of the original game. By April 2025, Breaker Games announced yet another new title — a card roguelike called "Apokerlypse" — again posted on Project Zero's news page to reach its audience. This pattern confirms the studio has fully moved on from developing Project Zero itself. No DLC has ever been listed for Project Zero, no roadmap or future content was ever announced for the base game, and the store description even includes a note that sequel development plans would be shared in the community group — signaling the developer always viewed this as a foundation for future projects rather than a game to be expanded in-place. The last content of any kind relating to Project Zero was the announcement of its sequel in late 2023. The game launched as a complete, self-contained product and the developer has since shipped two follow-up projects.
