Evaluation

Purplis Sandbox launched on January 14, 2021 and received several updates throughout its first year. On October 5, 2021, the developer explicitly announced they were working on the "last big update" for the game and that only minor fixes would follow. That final major update — version 1.4.0 — shipped on November 10, 2021, delivering night mode, gas mechanics, new items, and more. The release post confirmed again: "This is a last big update for the game, after that there would be only small additions and minor fixes." A small maintenance patch (1.4.1) followed on January 14, 2022 with a bug fix and one minor addition. The developer has made no further communications since then. The game is complete as the developer designed it, with no further content planned.

Evidence

Version 1.4.0 shipped as the largest update to the game, explicitly confirmed as the final major update. Developer thanked players for their support.
