Raiders of Blackveil entered Early Access on December 15, 2025 and has been receiving substantial, regular updates ever since. Since the previous evaluation, development has continued at a strong pace. The Fangs and Faith Update launched on July 14, 2026 — one of the game's biggest updates to date — adding two entirely new champions (Foxley and Valora), new unique equipment, reconnect and save/exit functionality, and a major balance pass. Minor hotfixes and patches have continued since, with Hotfix #7 arriving on August 3, 2026 to address multiplayer stability and new champion bugs. Most significantly, the developer announced the Transmutation Update on September 4, 2026, with a confirmed launch date of September 17, 2026 — just two days from today. This update brings a major equipment rebalance, a new Transmutation system for upgrading and modifying gear, seven new crafting materials, 10 new unique items, 25 new perks, six new champion talents, and expanded stash features. A detailed preview video was published on September 14, 2026. The game's development trajectory across three major named updates (Ghoulag on May 19, 2026; Fangs and Faith on July 14, 2026; Transmutation on September 17, 2026) shows roughly a 6–8 week cadence between major releases. The developer's roadmap from March 2026 and the July 2026 Q&A both discussed future champions, endgame systems, and plans beyond the full 1.0 release — making clear that significant content remains planned before the game is considered complete.

About this game

Raiders of Blackveil is a Top-Down, pulse-pounding Multiplayer Roguelite ARPG with MOBA inspired characters, and a couple of extraction elements.

You will be:
