Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny

Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny launched on July 29, 2013 as a remake of the 1992 original. The development team at Crafty Studios actively updated and expanded the game through 2015, shipping two paid DLC packs in early 2014 (For the Gods on February 7, 2014, and Ogredeath on February 21, 2014) and a third free DLC — "With Blade and Brilliance" — on August 17, 2015, celebrating the game's two-year anniversary. All three DLC entries in the store are marked as released, and the last one shipped on August 17, 2015. After that release, the developer's communications shifted focus: on November 5, 2015, Crafty Studios and publisher UIG announced that work had officially begun on the next game in the series, Realms of Arkania: Star Trail HD, using Blade of Destiny version 1.36 as its development foundation. This announcement effectively signals that Blade of Destiny's active development cycle had concluded, with the studio moving its efforts to the sequel. No further updates, patches, DLC announcements, or developer posts have appeared since November 2015. All planned content has shipped, the developer has publicly redirected its attention to a successor title, and there are no unreleased DLC items or outstanding commitments. The game launched as a complete product and received its final content on August 17, 2015.
