Redout 2 launched on June 16, 2022 and received two paid DLC packs through its Season Pass: the Summer Pack (October 20, 2022) adding Caribbean Dam tracks, and the Winter Pack (February 9, 2023) adding Terror Rupes tracks. All five DLC items in the store are released, and the Season Pass is fully fulfilled.
In June 2024, 34BigThings reacquired publishing rights to Redout 2 from Saber Interactive and shipped patch 1.3.1 on June 11, 2024 — a free update with three new V.E.R.T.E.X. tracks and quality-of-life fixes, framed explicitly as a "thank you gift" to the community. No further content roadmap or future DLC was announced alongside it.
The most recent developer communication on the Redout 2 Steam page is a June 23, 2026 studio update in which 34BigThings announced they have restructured as an independent studio and are working on a major new (as-yet-unnamed) IP. The post focuses entirely on the studio's future projects — including Carmageddon: Rogue Shift (announced December 4, 2025) and an upcoming title — with no mention of any further Redout 2 content.
