Reignfall

Reignfall launched into Early Access on September 27, 2018, with the developer committing to roughly two months of content additions before a full release. True to that plan, the game received a steady stream of feature updates throughout October and November 2018 — adding new heroes, difficulty levels, enemy types, and game modes — before reaching its 1.0 full release on December 10, 2018. That release post thanked players for their support and framed it as the completion of the game's development cycle. After launch, the developer made only occasional maintenance-level updates. The last known patch (January 2, 2021) added minor aiming options — a small quality-of-life improvement, not new content. By March 2022, the developer publicly announced they had moved on to a brand new project, "Nightmare of Decay," a horror first-person shooter. This announcement makes clear that Checkmaty's focus shifted away from Reignfall entirely. There is no announced future content for Reignfall, no unreleased DLC, and no post-launch content cycle of any significance. The game shipped as a complete product at 1.0 and has received no major content since. With the developer publicly working on a different title, Reignfall is a finished game.
