Evaluation
Relapse launched on October 12, 2022 and received a concentrated burst of updates in its first few months — primarily balance patches, quality-of-life improvements, and two post-launch feature updates that added ascension difficulty modes and additional unlockables (November–December 2022). After that period, activity tapered sharply: the only posts from 2023 onward are two minor localization hotfixes in August 2024 (v2.2.7 and v2.2.8), which fixed character encoding issues for certain regional users. There have been no developer communications of any kind since August 5, 2024 — nearly two years ago. Across 49 total news posts scanned, there are zero major content releases and zero announcements of planned future content. No DLC has been listed. The store description and short description describe the game as a complete, self-contained experience with a defined content scope (240+ abilities, 100+ trinkets, 170+ cosmetics). The developer has made no statements about future updates, expansions, or a content roadmap. The pattern is consistent with a game that launched as a finished product, received some early post-launch polish, and has since been complete.
Evidence
v2.2.0 — last substantial gameplay patch, removing decimal displays and rebalancing numerous abilities and trinkets
