Re:Legend launched from Early Access on September 5, 2022, graduating to its full 1.0 release with two new biomes, a complete story, and a large volume of new content. Following launch, the developer published a post-launch roadmap on September 12, 2022 promising continued updates through end of 2023, and delivered several patches through late 2022.
In January 2024, the developer returned after a period of silence with a post (January 25, 2024) confirming that their publisher had authorized continued work beyond 1.0. That update delivered bug fixes and mentioned plans for new Magnus and weapons — but no significant named content expansion followed.
The most definitive communication came on June 8, 2026, when the developer published a heartfelt message to the community explaining their current situation. They confirmed that players can complete the full storyline through to the credits, and were transparent that they currently lack the resources to continue updating the game. Specifically, they disclosed that they have lost access to their Steam backend and are not receiving revenue reports from their publisher, making sustainable continued development impossible. While they expressed a hope to potentially reboot the project or add content in the future if circumstances change, they were clear that no active development is happening now.
The developer explicitly offered Kickstarter backers either full refunds or lifetime passes to future games — a gesture that reflects the practical end of the current development cycle. The game is a complete, playable experience with a full story ending.

Growing crops are not limited to land, however, as Vokka Island allows you to grow crops and keep exotic fish underwater. Explore crystal clear waters and farm to your hearts content.
The world of Ethia is filled with dangerous wildlife, and your skills in combat will be essential for your survival.
Wield unrestricted weapon classes and even mount your Magnus, as you master your combat abilities.
