R.E.P.O.

R.E.P.O. launched into Early Access on February 26, 2025 and has been receiving major updates on a consistent cadence ever since. The first major update, v0.2.0 (The Museum Update), arrived on June 26, 2025, adding an entirely new level and numerous gameplay systems. v0.3.0 (The Monster Update) followed on October 30, 2025 with 10 new enemies and a large batch of new content. Most recently, v0.4.0 (The Cosmetic Update) launched on May 7, 2026, bringing over 500 cosmetic parts, a new game mode, a shop overhaul, and seven new items — with follow-up patches continuing through May 2026. On June 5, 2026 — just two weeks before today — the developer posted a news update confirming that the next update's main focus is a brand new level, and that the team is working toward a 1.0 Full Release. This is the most recent developer communication and makes clear that both near-term content and the eventual full release are actively in progress. The developer also noted that devlogs will become less frequent while they focus on this work, so a quieter period ahead should not be interpreted as inactivity. The game is firmly in Early Access, actively developed, with a named upcoming content target (new level) and an explicit path toward 1.0 announced by the developer.
