Restoring the Past

Restoring the Past is a free indie puzzle game that launched on March 7, 2025. Since launch, the developer shipped three DLC packs — all part of a "Beauty of Porcelain" series — on March 8, March 24, and April 6, 2025. A bug fix post from March 21, 2025 mentioned plans to add features including next-level advancement, a cat visibility toggle, and new level types. However, those were relatively minor feature additions, and the most recent developer communication of any kind was on March 21, 2025 — over 18 months ago as of today (September 24, 2026). No new DLC has been listed, no further news posts have been published, and the promised features were never formally announced as a named content release. The three-DLC series has all entries marked as released, the cadence of roughly one DLC every 2 weeks across March–April 2025 has been silent for well over a year, and the developer has not re-affirmed any ongoing plans. With no outstanding announced content commitments and developer communication having ceased since March 21, 2025, the game appears to have launched as a small, complete package with a brief burst of early content. The last shipped content was the April 6, 2025 DLC.
