Retrograde Arena launched into Early Access on May 28, 2020, then converted to a free-to-play model on June 11, 2020. Over the following two months, the developer shipped all of its post-launch content in a rapid burst: a Supporter Pack DLC (June 12, 2020), a Deathmatch Pack DLC (July 8, 2020), and an Arms Race Pack DLC (July 31, 2020), the last of which also included a feature update with new weapons and UI improvements. All three DLC packs are now released with no unreleased items remaining on the store. The developer's last news post was on July 31, 2020 — nearly six years before today's date of June 26, 2026. There have been no developer communications, announcements, roadmaps, or patch notes of any kind since that date. The store description still references "Early Access" in one line, but the game is not flagged as Early Access and all content activity ceased in mid-2020. Given the complete absence of developer communication since July 31, 2020, and the fact that all DLC shipped within the same short two-month window following launch, the game appears to have reached its final content state as of July 31, 2020.
