Ride 2 launched on October 7, 2016 and received a substantial post-launch content program consisting of 17 DLC packs — a mix of paid bike packs and free bike packs — along with several patches. The paid DLC releases ran from launch through May 2017, with the final release being Free Bikes Pack 9 on May 31, 2017. All 17 listed DLC packs are marked as released, with no unreleased items remaining on the store. Developer news activity ceases entirely after May 2017, and no announcements of additional content, a sequel tie-in, or ongoing development have been made since. The content program followed a clear monthly cadence from October 2016 through May 2017, after which all communication stopped — consistent with a planned, time-limited DLC rollout that has now concluded. Milestone went on to develop and release Ride 3 (2018), further confirming that active development on Ride 2 wrapped up. The game is complete as of May 31, 2017.
