Ring of Elysium has been fully shut down. On September 1, 2023, the developer published an official Notice of Termination announcing that the game's services would end on December 1, 2023, and that the game would be removed from Steam immediately on September 1, 2023. A follow-up post on November 30, 2023 confirmed the shutdown was proceeding as planned, with servers going offline at midnight PST on December 1, 2023 and all player data being deleted. The game is no longer purchasable on Steam, consistent with this announced removal. The developer thanked players for five years of support and indicated the team would move on to future projects, but made no mention of any revival or continuation of Ring of Elysium itself.
