River City Super Sports Challenge ~All Stars Special~ launched on December 17, 2015 as a port of the PlayStation 3 version of the game — a complete, finished product at the time of release. Following launch, the developer issued several patches through mid-2016: bug fixes for achievements, online multiplayer stability, and anti-virus false positive issues, as well as minor feature additions like connection indicators in online lobbies (January 14, 2016) and simplified Chinese language support (June 1, 2016). The final recorded update was patch v1.06 on June 16, 2016. There have been no developer communications of any kind since June 2016 — nearly a decade of silence. No DLC was ever listed, no expansions were announced, and no roadmap or future content was ever mentioned. The game shipped as a self-contained title with no post-launch content cycle, and all developer activity wrapped up in mid-2016.
