Rogue Shooter: The FPS Roguelike launched on April 24, 2014. In the weeks following launch, the developer shipped a series of patches — a day-one memory fix on April 25, a save-on-exit feature on April 30, and a more substantial update on May 15, 2014 that added a new weapon (the W.O.M.P.), new room mechanics, balance changes, and additional options. That May 15, 2014 post represents the last known developer communication. There is no DLC, no season pass, no roadmap, and no developer statements announcing future content. The game's store description presents it as a complete, self-contained experience. With no post-launch content pattern beyond an initial polish phase in the first three weeks after launch, and no communication of any kind since May 15, 2014, the game launched and was completed as a finished product.

First-person shooters and roguelikes have finally tied the knot! Their offspring, ROGUE SHOOTER, tasks you with navigating a space station run amok. Blast aliens and kick robots in the face as you traverse each level; collecting weapons and gaining experience along the way. How far will you go when death lurks around every corner? Will you reach the 100th level and destroy the source of the station’s corruption? Probably not, but it’s worth a try.
