Ryse: Son of Rome launched on PC on October 10, 2014. The store description explicitly states that the PC version is "the complete Ryse experience," bundling the original game with all of its DLC — content that had previously been released over time for the Xbox One version. Crytek also confirmed at launch that optional microtransactions were removed for PC, and that all DLC packs were included from day one. Developer activity following launch consisted entirely of bug fixes and a performance patch in the weeks immediately after release (October 2014) and a feature patch shortly after. The most recent developer communication referencing Ryse was a December 18, 2020 post promoting a Crytek bundle on Steam, which simply advertised the game as part of a holiday sale — no new content was announced.
