Evaluation
SAMURAI WARRIORS: Spirit of Sanada launched on May 23, 2017, and all of its DLC — seven Additional Weapons Sets — shipped together on June 6, 2017, just two weeks after launch. No further content was ever announced or released for this game. The developer's news posts associated with this game's Steam page are promotions for entirely separate titles (WARRIORS OROCHI 3 Ultimate Definitive Edition in July 2022 and SAMURAI WARRIORS 4 DX in May 2024), not updates to Spirit of Sanada itself. There is no evidence of any post-launch content additions beyond those initial weapon sets, no roadmap, and no developer statements indicating future plans for this game. Spirit of Sanada launched as a complete, self-contained experience and has been content-complete since June 2017.
Evidence
All 7 DLC packs (Additional Weapons Sets 1–7) released simultaneously on June 6, 2017, two weeks after launch. No unreleased DLC exists.
Store description presents the game as a standalone, complete narrative experience covering the full life of Yukimura Sanada, with no mention of future content, season passes, or ongoing updates.
