Shapik: The Quest

Shapik: The Quest is a completed point-and-click adventure game that launched on June 20, 2024 after a successful Kickstarter campaign. The game shipped as a finished product — a remaster of a 2011 Flash game with 10 new levels, 4K textures, and gamepad support, exactly as promised to backers. Since launch, the developer has issued a handful of patches addressing bugs and minor performance improvements (most recently on April 3, 2026), but none of these represent new story content or major additions. The sole DLC released alongside the game is a Soundtrack + Artbook pack, which shipped on launch day — there are no unreleased DLC entries. The developer's post-launch communications are focused almost entirely on a separate new project, "Whispers Among the Poppies," which was announced in August 2025 and received a demo update for Steam Next Fest in October 2025. There is no indication that additional content is planned for Shapik: The Quest itself. The game appears to have launched as a complete, self-contained experience and the developer has moved on to their next project.
