Evaluation

Shrine's Legacy launched on October 7, 2025 and received consistent post-launch support through bug fixes, feature patches, and balance updates. The developer's most significant announced commitment was the "Uncharted Lands Free DLC," a new dungeon described in a January 17, 2026 developer update as an upcoming major addition to the game. That DLC shipped on June 25, 2026, delivering a new massive dungeon, 5 new jewels, and the Japanese localization. A follow-up patch on July 8, 2026 refined the DLC area with additional content and fixes. As of the evaluation date of September 2, 2026, the developer has made no announcements of additional content beyond what has already shipped. The January 2026 developer post also mentioned a Nintendo Switch port and vague "other updates," but the Switch port was not a Steam content commitment, and the general mention of future polish updates was not specific enough to constitute an outstanding content promise — particularly given that no such update has been announced or teased since. The only DLC listed on the store is the released soundtrack. The game appears to have reached its content endpoint with the Uncharted Lands DLC, which fulfilled the last specifically announced deliverable.
