Skyfront VR launched out of Early Access on March 8, 2019, following a December 2018 release build update that introduced the Genesis arena, a progression system, and cosmetic customization. Prior to and shortly after launch, the developer maintained an active update cadence, shipping feature patches and bug fixes through October 22, 2019 (Patch 19.7), which addressed Valve Index headset support. That October 2019 post is the last recorded developer communication of any kind — over six years ago as of June 2026. No further patches, announcements, or developer posts have appeared since then. The game has no DLC listed, no unreleased content on the store, and no post-launch statements about future plans. The developer shipped two major content updates (Patch 18 in September 2018 and Patch 19 in December 2018) during the Early Access period, both before the official 1.0 launch. After launch, activity tapered off through several bug fix and feature patches before going completely silent in late 2019. With no outstanding commitments, no active update pattern, and over six years of silence since the last communication, the game appears to have concluded its post-launch support as a finished product.

The game features four crazy cool arenas. The distinct sizes and layouts of the arenas promote different types of gameplay, from really fast-paced and intense to more calculated and sneaky.
You can also choose between traditional Single Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch game modes and the more intense team-based Domination mode.
