Snooker Nation Championship entered Steam Early Access on April 27, 2016 and has never left that state — it remains formally marked as an unfinished, in-development game. Cherry Pop Games issued several patches through 2016 and returned with a significant update in late April/early May 2019 that added new game modes (Snooker Plus, Online Leagues) and a revamped AI, followed by two smaller follow-up patches in May and June 2019 addressing bugs and control remapping. The last recorded developer communication of any kind was the patch posted on June 13, 2019. Since that date — now over seven years ago as of mid-2026 — there have been no further updates, announcements, roadmaps, or statements from Cherry Pop Games about the game's future. The developer has never announced a 1.0 release date, declared development complete, or communicated any plans to bring the game out of Early Access. Given this extended silence with no resolution, it is unclear whether active development is continuing.
