Evaluation

Sonic Generations Collection launched on November 3, 2011, and received its one and only DLC — the Casino Night pinball stage — on January 19, 2012. The store description confirms this DLC is now bundled into the base game for free. No further content has ever been announced or released since then. The game has been a complete, finished product since January 2012. In August 2024, SEGA announced that the standalone version of Sonic Generations would be delisted from Steam on September 9, 2024, with the game moving exclusively into the "Sonic the Hedgehog Legacy Bundle." Despite this delisting announcement, the game's Steam app (App ID 71340) remains purchasable as of today — likely through the bundle arrangement or as a legacy listing for existing owners — so it has not been marked as fully unavailable. No new content was announced alongside this transition; the delisting was a commercial restructuring, not a new content initiative.

Evidence

Casino Night DLC released on January 19, 2012 — the only DLC ever produced for the game, and now bundled into the base game for free.
