Evaluation

SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS launched on October 25, 2024. The Digital Deluxe Edition included a Season Pass with a defined set of items: the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Movie Pack (a new level and Shadow skin), the Terios Skin, an Extra BGM Pack, a Digital Art Book + Soundtrack, and Skill Points for Sonic Generations. All of these items have now shipped. The Movie Pack — the only time-delayed component, originally announced as releasing "Holiday 2024" — launched on December 13, 2024. The remaining DLC (art book, extra content pack, and legacy skin) were all available at or before launch. The last developer communication was a maintenance patch on January 21, 2025, addressing a keyboard input bug. All announced Season Pass content has been delivered, there are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, and the developer has not announced any additional content beyond what was already shipped. The game appears to have been delivered as a complete package with its full planned content slate fulfilled.
