Evaluation

Spyro Reignited Trilogy launched on September 3, 2019 as a complete collection of three fully remastered games — Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. The package was designed and marketed as a finished, all-inclusive product from the start, with no post-launch DLC or content updates planned or delivered. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmaps, and no developer statements indicating additional content for this collection. A June 8, 2026 announcement from Toys for Bob promotes an entirely new and separate game, Spyro: A Realm Beyond (targeting Spring 2027), which confirms the studio is moving forward with a new title rather than continuing to update this collection. The Reignited Trilogy itself is a complete, standalone product.
