Evaluation
TY the Tasmanian Tiger originally launched into Early Access and graduated to its full 1.0 release on December 12, 2016. Following that launch, Krome Studios continued to polish and update the game — shipping feature patches through 2017 and 2018, including a rang selection wheel, audio improvements, and a new Hardcore Mode. The largest post-launch update arrived on April 1, 2020, coinciding with the game's Nintendo Switch release, and added character skins, subtitles for all video cutscenes, a fully remixed audio Director's Cut, and various rendering improvements. This appears to be the last meaningful content update to the game.
Both DLC items — the Soundtrack and The Art of TY the Tasmanian Tiger — were released on May 23, 2017, and no unreleased DLC is listed. The developer's March 2019 post soliciting community input about "next steps for TY" did not result in any announced or delivered content for TY1 specifically. No posts since April 2020 indicate further content is planned or in development for this title. The game launched as a remaster of a classic platformer and has since received its final round of content enhancements. It is complete as a package.
Evidence
Major update released alongside the Nintendo Switch launch: new character skins, subtitles for all cutscenes, remixed audio Director's Cut, and various visual/performance improvements. This is the most recent developer update found.
Hardcore Mode added — a new gameplay mode removing extra lives and adding two achievements and two leaderboards

G'day mate! Things can be a bit confusing at times, so let me remind you what's going on... You are TY, the last of the Tasmanian Tigers. Raised by a family of Bilbies, you can only vaguely recall your real parents. You've always thought that all the other Tassie Tigers died a long time ago.
But then the Bunyip Elder found you, and told you that your family is alive, but trapped in the Dreaming. Now hold your horses... don't get upset... you see they're not stuck there forever, if you're up for a bit of an adventure!
You see, deep in the Outback, there's this kind of glowy portal thing that is a doorway to the Dreaming. And around that portal there are some carvings in the rock, where five ancient mystical Talismans used to lay. Now, all you have to do is find the five Talismans, put them in the carvings, and the portal to the Dreaming will open!
Now, before you go off like a frog in a sock, there's just this one SMALL problem. You see there's this evil cassowary - Boss Cass - who's also after the Talismans. Yes. THATALSO[/b trapped a whole bunch of your Bilby mates in cages all across the outback... something about overdue library books... Anyways, if you want to open the portal, you'll have to beat him and his henchmen to the Talismans!
Don't worry though, you won't be alone! You'll have a bunch of friends to help you along the way, including me - your old mate, Maurie. Now let's get down to brass tacks, find those Talismans, and rescue your family!
