Poi launched out of Early Access on February 1, 2017 and has received a steady stream of updates since then — but these have been predominantly maintenance and quality-of-life improvements rather than major new content. The most significant post-launch content additions were an art book, music player, and achievements screen added on October 24, 2019, and a 3D Diorama Viewer added on October 30, 2022. Since that October 2022 update, the developer has posted twice: a PlayStation and Nintendo Switch Pro Controller support patch on September 16, 2023, and a small bug fix on November 14, 2024. Neither of these suggests new content is in the pipeline — they are maintenance updates. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced future content, and no roadmap. The developer has not made any statement promising additional content. The sole DLC (the soundtrack) has been released. The pattern of updates — increasingly sparse, focused on compatibility and fixes rather than new gameplay — indicates the game has reached a natural content-complete state. The last meaningful content addition was the Diorama Viewer on October 30, 2022, and no further content has been announced in the years since.
