TY the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue graduated from Early Access on December 12, 2017, with a polished remaster of the original console game. After launch, Krome Studios continued to support the game with meaningful updates: a Hardcore Mode was added in March 2018, and in February 2023, a notable content update arrived alongside Steam Deck Verification — adding two brand-new boomerangs (the Craftyrang and Camerarang, the latter with a full in-game photo mode), three new TY skins, three new vehicle paint jobs, and updated visual effects. That February 2023 update represents the last major content addition to the game. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no announced future content, and no developer communications after February 9, 2023. The developer has not indicated any further content is planned, and the gap since that last update — over three years as of mid-2026 — far exceeds the studio's historical update rhythm. The game appears to have reached its final, complete state with the February 2023 update.

And in the end... he succeeded. CASS was banished for his crimes, and the land was made safe once again. All thanks to to one lone hero...
