Evaluation
Soul Hackers 2 launched on August 25, 2022 as a complete RPG. All five DLC items — including a bonus story arc, demon packs, costume and BGM packs, and booster items — were released on launch day (August 26, 2022), indicating they were prepared alongside the base game rather than as post-launch expansions.
Following launch, ATLUS released one notable patch in November 2022 (version 1.02) that added quality-of-life improvements such as a dash function, fast battle mode, and four bonus demons. No further content updates were made after that point.
The only developer communication since 2022 was a security/compatibility update on October 30, 2025, which explicitly stated "there are no changes made to the game content." This confirms the game remains in maintenance-only status with no new content intended.
There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced future content, and no roadmap suggesting additional updates. Soul Hackers 2 launched as a finished product and its content has been complete since the November 2022 patch.
