Space Aces

Space Aces is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online space shooter that launched on January 2, 2026. By its fundamental design, this is a live service game — it features a premium item shop with "ace coins," competitive seasons with expanding reward pools, clan and faction warfare systems, and recurring community events like the Faction EXPO. These are hallmarks of a game built to run and grow indefinitely. The developer has maintained an exceptionally high update cadence since launch. In roughly 5.5 months, the team has shipped 6 major content drops including the Stargazer ship and its abilities (June 11, 2026), the Gauss weapon system and Edax alien enemies (March 30, 2026), a new UI into public testing alongside the Elite Cuboran encounter (January 25, 2026), and the Operation Chariot mission (February 14, 2026). Beyond major content, dozens of feature patches and bug fixes have landed throughout the period, with multiple updates arriving in just the past week (June 14 and June 16, 2026). The developer also overhauled the entire game client with a new renderer during this period. There is no indication that development is slowing — the studio continues to add new ships, weapons, enemies, game modes, and systems at a rapid and sustained pace.
