Evaluation
Space Pilgrim Episode IV: Sol released on March 4, 2016 as the explicitly described "final installment of the epic Space Pilgrim saga." The store description makes clear this is the concluding chapter of a four-episode series, not the beginning of an ongoing content cycle. The developer, Pilgrim Adventures, has since moved on to entirely separate projects — Space Pilgrim Academy (October 2017), Space Pilgrim Academy: Year 2 (April 2018), The Deed II (November 2019), and The Deadly Facade — none of which are updates or additions to this game. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and no developer communications suggesting anything further is planned for Episode IV. This game launched as a complete, standalone episode and has received no post-launch content updates.
Evidence
Store description explicitly calls this the 'final installment of the epic Space Pilgrim saga,' confirming it was designed and shipped as the concluding episode of the series.
Developer released Space Pilgrim Academy, a separate sequel set nine years after Episode IV, indicating the studio moved on to new projects rather than adding content to Episode IV.
