Evaluation
Split or Steal launched on January 31, 2020 and received a steady stream of major updates through 2020 and into early 2021 — including major content patches in February, March, May, July, and August 2020, followed by a quality-of-life update in February 2021. Throughout this period, the developer consistently communicated plans for future content, most notably a mobile port that was described as the game's next major milestone. As of the February 7, 2021 post (the last official communication), the mobile port was still in development and undelivered.
Since February 7, 2021, the developer has gone completely silent. There have been no patch notes, blog posts, or announcements of any kind. The promised mobile release was never delivered or cancelled publicly. Given that the developer maintained active and regular communication from launch through early 2021, this extended silence — now over five years — is a significant departure from the established pattern, and the outstanding commitment to a mobile port remains unresolved. It is not possible to confirm whether development is still ongoing, abandoned, or if the studio is still active.
Evidence
Last developer post confirms mobile port is the next major update, but has been delayed. No further posts have appeared after this date.
Developer announces mobile port as the primary focus of development going forward, with cross-play compatibility planned.

About this game
Split or Steal is a light re-imagining of the Game Theory concept of The Prisoner's Dilemma.
Two players will be selected from a pool of online users, and are presented with a potential reward. The players are given a maximum of 2 minutes to speak with eachother – at which point, they can then choose to either share, or attempt to steal the reward.
Earn an honest fortune, or steal your way to success - then spend your winnings on building a Headquarters to amplify your earnings in an idle/incremental-style fashion, running heists against those who wronged you, or just buying one of over 140 different cosmetics to show off in-game with. And, if you don't manage to alienate people by stealing from the entire planet, take advantage of the shared wealth and bonuses offered by joining an Organization!
Fully cross-play compatible with all other Web & Standalone releases, inclusive of support for importing existing player profiles.
