SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated launched on June 23, 2020 as a faithful remake of the original game, including a new horde mode multiplayer and restored cut content. Its only DLC — a soundtrack — released on the same day as the game itself.
The developer's news channel has since been used to announce and promote two subsequent entries in the SpongeBob game franchise: The Cosmic Shake (launched January 31, 2023) and Titans of the Tide (launched November 18, 2025). These are separate, standalone games, not content additions to Rehydrated.
There have been no post-launch content updates, patches with new features, roadmaps, or announcements of additional DLC for Rehydrated itself. The game launched as a complete, self-contained product and shows no signs of ongoing content development. All DLC has been released, and no further content has been communicated by the developer.
