StarSavior

StarSavior is a free-to-play gacha RPG that launched on December 10, 2025 and has been operating as a fully active live service ever since. The developer, Studiobside, maintains an exceptionally rapid update cadence — major maintenance patches ship roughly every one to two weeks, each introducing new playable characters (Saviors), new Arcana, seasonal competitive content, and new systems. On August 14, 2026, Director Lee Sungwon published a detailed Dev Notes post laying out a concrete content roadmap through at least November 2026. The roadmap includes: "Metabasis of Ashen Embers" (August 20–September 4), Main Story Episode 7: "The Witch's Veil" (September 3–17), a major new event "A Study in Gray" described as "a turning point for StarSavior" (September 17–October 8), a rerun event (October 8–15), and "A Warrior's Heart: Meant to Serve!" (October 15–November 6). The post also previews upcoming system additions including the Overload Cube expansion, Challenge of the Stars EX overhaul, and the Deep Mining Operation (still in internal development). The August 20, 2026 update (the most recent at the time of assessment) shipped a new Featured Savior (Cristelle), a new Arcana, multiple gameplay system improvements (Star Link Amplification milestones, Faded Invitation currency, Gear Score display, PvP lobby access during matchmaking), and guild Arcana Lending expansion. Ongoing monetized structures include recurring seasonal passes, a monthly Willpower subscription with gameplay benefits, and the continuous gacha character roster. There is no indication of any slowdown or conclusion of content development. The developer is actively communicating, publishing roadmaps, and shipping substantial updates on a near-weekly basis.
