Starship Theory

Starship Theory is a ship-building survival game developed by Reconnect Software. It entered Early Access and received a series of feature patches and updates between July 2017 and July 2018, covering additions like new ship types, fire logic improvements, save system overhauls, painting options, and starting difficulty choices. The game then formally released on May 31, 2026 — only 26 days before today's date — after a prolonged Early Access period. Because the game only recently left Early Access and became a full release, there simply hasn't been enough time to observe whether the developer plans continued post-launch content. The developer has made no post-launch announcements about future updates, expansions, or DLC, nor have they stated that the game is content-complete. The store description and DLC listing show no unreleased content. Given how recently the game launched, it's too early to draw conclusions about what's next.
