Stellar Dream - Part 1 launched on November 6, 2025 as a deliberately scoped first installment. In a September 10, 2025 announcement, Winterlook Games explained that the game had originally been planned as an Early Access release, but due to Steam policy changes around Adult Only content in Early Access, they restructured it into a two-part release. The developer was explicit: the full story of Stellar Dream will be told across both parts, and Part 2 will expand on and complete the narrative. At launch on November 6, 2025, the developer confirmed this again, stating they "will strive to deliver Part 2 to you as soon as possible." Most recently, on March 3, 2026, a feature update post directly stated the team is "working hard on Part Two," confirming that development of the continuation is actively underway. No Part 2 release or listing has appeared on the store since that post. As of today, September 24, 2026, the last developer communication remains the March 3, 2026 update — approximately six and a half months ago. This is at the edge of the typical silence threshold, but given that Part 2 is a full game in development rather than a patch or DLC, longer gaps between updates are expected. No distress signals (funding issues, studio closure, or cancellation) have been communicated. The developer's commitment to Part 2 has been consistent across multiple posts, and nothing in the record suggests that commitment has changed. The game itself is complete and playable as a standalone experience, but the full story it is part of remains unfinished by the developer's own design.
