Storm Chasers

Storm Chasers is still in Early Access on Steam. On October 7, 2026, the developer made version v0.10 available without the new larger map, saying new features are being rolled out gradually so that development does not become unmanageable. That post indicates the map is still being worked on. The map is meant to be much bigger than the current one and to include highways, rivers, train tracks and forests. In a February 13, 2025 update, the developer described it as still in progress, said optimizing it was taking longer than expected, and suggested a v0.11 with an additional new map could follow v0.10 within a few months. No date has been given for the map or for v0.11. v0.10 adds persistent online cash and avatar customization, new hairstyles and outfits, a Velocity Radar upgrade, an improved Reflectivity Radar, new Steam achievements, vehicle and house door improvements, Versus matches that no longer require picking a preset player limit, and Steam Cloud saving for settings. The previous major version, v0.9.0, arrived on July 4, 2023, three years after v0.8.0 on July 4, 2020, so long gaps between major updates are typical for this developer.
