STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town launched on September 15, 2021, alongside its Expansion Pass and several cosmetic DLC items, all of which are listed as released. The game received a content and bug-fix update (Ver. 1.1.0) on November 30, 2021 — the only substantive post-launch content update on record. After that, developer communications went quiet on this title. The developer's recent news activity on this game's Steam page has focused on promoting a separate follow-up title, STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar (announced April 25, 2025, releasing August 27, 2025), rather than any new content for Pioneers of Olive Town. The only update to Pioneers of Olive Town after 2021 was a December 12, 2025 security patch addressing a Unity vulnerability — a maintenance fix with no content implications.
