Summer Catchers

Summer Catchers launched on July 16, 2019 as a complete story-driven arcade game. Following launch, the developer shipped a series of updates: a mechanics overhaul and demo release on September 3, 2019 (v1.2.0), a photo mode addition on May 28, 2020, and a final content update on February 11, 2021 adding new karts, costumes, and Japanese localization. After that February 2021 update, the game received one more post in December 2022 confirming Steam Deck verification — a compatibility milestone rather than new content. The only DLC ever listed is the original soundtrack, which was released on launch day. The most recent news post dated September 17, 2025 is a launch announcement for an entirely different game — Flick Shot Rogues — published by the same developer on their Steam news feed. It contains no mention of Summer Catchers or any new content for it. No future content has been announced for Summer Catchers, no unreleased DLC exists on the store, and the developer has not communicated any ongoing development plans for the game. The last content addition was the February 11, 2021 update, which appears to represent the end of post-launch support. Summer Catchers shipped as a complete narrative experience and its content is finished.
