Super Cable Boy

Super Cable Boy launched on November 20, 2020 and received a steady stream of post-launch updates through early 2024. In the months following launch, the developer shipped several feature patches adding achievements, controller rumble, new secret areas, additional collectibles, localization support, and quality-of-life improvements. The soundtrack DLC was released on June 24, 2021. In March 2022, the developer announced a level editor feature (the "Arcade"), which entered public testing at that time. On January 26, 2024, the developer formally released the Arcade publicly alongside a Linux and macOS port — this appears to be the most substantial update the game has received and represents the completion of the level editor feature that had been in testing since 2022. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store. The sole DLC (the soundtrack) was released in June 2021. The developer has made no announcements of future content since the January 26, 2024 update, and there is no roadmap or teaser pointing to anything beyond that release. The January 2024 patch, which brought the Arcade feature to all players and expanded platform support, is the most recent developer communication on record. With no outstanding commitments and no further updates since January 26, 2024, the game appears to have reached its complete state.
