On May 23, 2020, the developer published a post announcing that SUPER RECOILFIGHT had officially left Early Access and received its final update. In that post, the developer explicitly explained their decision to conclude development: planned additions like powerups, new levels, and modifiers were explored but ultimately abandoned because they would have required significant effort for minimal improvement to the game's quality. The developer stated they were "leaving the game as is" and signed off with a farewell message, making clear this was the end of development for this title. The only DLC — the Supporter Pack — was released back on May 21, 2019, well before the game's 1.0 launch, and no further DLC has been listed or announced. Subsequent developer news posts (including a new game announcement in June 2023 and a racing game tease in May 2025) confirm the studio has moved on to other projects entirely. The game launched as a complete, finished product on May 23, 2020, and no further content has been delivered or announced since that date.
