Evaluation

Supercharged Robot VULKAISER launched on June 4, 2015 as a complete, self-contained 6-stage side-scrolling shooter. The store description presents a fully featured product — fixed stage count, four difficulty levels, 34 achievements, online leaderboards, and Steam trading cards — with no mention of planned expansions, DLC, or post-launch content. The developer's news history confirms this picture. After a bug fix patch on August 27, 2015 that addressed achievement and leaderboard issues, all subsequent posts from ASTRO PORT and publisher Henteko Doujin have been announcements for entirely separate games in the ASTRO SAGA series (MECHBLAZE in 2020, Armored Lab Force VULVEHICLES in 2022, RANDOMAX in 2025, and Kamikaze Empire in 2026). None of these posts reference new content for VULKAISER itself. There is no DLC listed for this game, no roadmap has ever been published, and no developer statement suggests further content was ever planned. VULKAISER shipped as a finished product and has remained so since its release date.
