Sword and Fairy 7 launched on October 21, 2021 as a complete action RPG. In the following year and a half, the developer released a steady stream of patches adding features, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements, culminating in a major performance overhaul in December 2022 that significantly reduced the game's file size. The game's only paid story expansion — Dreamlike World — launched on February 14, 2023, continuing the game's narrative with puzzle-focused gameplay. Both listed DLC items (the Dreamlike World expansion and the official soundtrack) have been released. No DLC remains unreleased on the store. Following the Dreamlike World launch, the developer issued one additional feature patch in March 2023 (v2.1), adding minor quality-of-life features. That is the most recent developer communication on record, dated March 13, 2023. There have been no announcements, roadmaps, or hints of further content since that date — now over three years ago as of June 2026. The developer's December 2021 new year message promised "new content in game" for 2022, which was plausibly fulfilled by the Dreamlike World expansion. No equivalent forward-looking commitments have been made since. With all announced content shipped, no unreleased DLC, and over three years of silence following the final patch, the game is best understood as a complete, finished product.
