Songs of Wuxia

Songs of Wuxia released on September 20, 2020 and received a flurry of bug fix and polish patches in the days and weeks immediately following launch. By January 2021, the developer shipped version 1.10 with additional fixes and optimizations. In April 2021, the developer posted a brief update confirming they had completed scene and camera optimizations, slightly reduced game difficulty, and were planning to bring the game to domestic Chinese platforms — closing out their active work on the game with a note to "hope we can meet again in the not-too-distant future." After that, developer communications shifted focus entirely to their next projects. An August 2022 post announced a new game set in the same universe, and a January 2023 post celebrated receiving a PC publishing license in China and highlighted the new title "Songs of Death." The most recent post from May 2024 announced a permanent price reduction and again directed players toward "Song of Life" and "Songs of Death" — the studio's newer releases. The only DLC ever listed is the soundtrack, which released on October 1, 2020. No additional DLC or expansions have been announced or listed. The store description presents the game as a complete, single-ending linear story. The developer's attention has clearly moved to successor projects, and there are no outstanding content commitments for this game. Songs of Wuxia launched and was completed as a standalone finished product.
